Exchange Ideas

Having a problem in your shop? Talk it over with our members.
There are many years of experience at our meetings.

Show and Tell

Each month our members may bring in their projects for display and discussion.
This is a very popular part of our meetings and gets much participation.

Field Trips

We schedule an occasional field trip to visit an interesting location. i.e. saw mill,
festival, cabinet shop, Hoosier Bat Co.

Shop Visits

Some members agree to host open house at their own shop. This allows their fellow members to see their equipment and also get to know each other better. We learn very much from these shop visits.

Tool Auction

Members bring in new and used woodworking tools and materials for auction at our January meeting.

Tool Loan

The club owns a Drill Doctor drill bit sharpening machine.
Members may borrow this machine.
Contact our Webmaster.

Magazine Index's

Email him if you wish to be on his mail list.

If you spot any good deals online or locally please email him so that he can alert our fellow members.
This service is for NIWA members only.

The annual Picnic is held at
Lemon Lake Park, just east of Cedar Lake.

Christmas Toys for Kids

Many of our members build toys which are collected each November for distribution to needy children.
In many cases, these are the only toys that these children will receive at Christmas.

Click here for photos and information.

Christmas Party

All members and spouse or friend are invited to our Christmas Party.
The club provides food, drink and entertainment.
