Shrine of St. Mary
Located on U.S. 41, just north of U.S. 231 in St. John, next to the Shrine of Christ’s Passion. The shrine was built in 1956 by Frank Wachter and Frank Schilling and can be seen from the road. The statue is 20 feet high and was imported in 1958 from Italy after the original statue cracked.

The Shrine of Christ’s Passion is an interactive half-mile winding pathway that begins with the Last Supper and Garden of Gethsemane. You then journey through the Passion of Christ as depicted in the Stations of the Cross.
