| South Lake County Community Services, has been providing a vast array of services to the communities of South Lake County since 1966. Its catchement area includes area includes Winfield, Center, Hanover, West Creek, Cedar Creek, Eagle Creek, and St. John Townships. The geographical area is over 385 square miles. SLCCS' purpose is to mobilize people and agencies in a community effort to enable people who are elderly, low income, and/or disabled towards economic self sufficiency. SLCCS provides a core of basic services which link persons and families with available services and programs, and assist families in crisis or emergency situations. SLCCS administers several different programs. |
