Roland Lewis graduated from West Side High School in 1981. He graduated from Howard University with a microbiology degree in 1986. He moved to Los Angeles in 1988 and has performed as a stand-up comedian, actor and has written for numerous television shows. He has worked behind the scenes on BET’s comedy Holla and can be seen on the screen as Holla Man. He has performed on Comic View and Def Comedy Jam. He has worked on "The Arsenio Hall Show" and “Little Shop” where he does the voice for Junior the Plant on Fox Television. He appeared in the national tour of the musical "The Fabric of a Man", was featured in the film "Berverlyhood", "Thicker Than Water", "Retiring Tatiana", "The Brothers" and USA Network’s "House Party 4 - Down to the Last Minute". He has also appeared on "Sister Sister", "In the House", "Martin", Sparks and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
