Fred Williamson

Born in Gary, Indiana on March 5, 1937. |

 Actor, director, producer, screenwriter. He was an All-American football player with Northwestern University, 1957, 1958, and 1959 and graduated with a degree in Architectural Engineering in 1960. Mr. Williamson became a professional football player with San Francisco Forty-Niners, 1960, Oakland Raiders, 1961-64, Kansas City Chiefs, 1965-67, and Montreal Allouettes. He has been in over 71 films. Some of his more recent films include "Carmen: A Hip Hopera" (2001), "Deadly Rhapsody" (2001), "Submerged" (2000), "The Independent" (2000), "Down 'n Dirty" (2000) and "Active Stealth" (1999). He has just finished filming "Fighting Words" 2003 and is currently working on the film Starsky and Hutch, 2004. Fred along with his wife/partner, Linda, have just completed production on the hot urban/action feature ON THE EDGE. Produced by their company Po’ Boy Productions that also stars, Bernie Casey, Jim Brown, and Ice T. Currently Fred is hosting SP ALERT a syndicated series. |
