New Horizon Singles Club is a social club for single people, 
40 and over, who love to get out and have a good time.
Members come from the Calumet Region of Northwest Indiana and South Suburban, Chicago Illinois. 
Many members are widowed, divorced or have never been married.
We offer monthly social events such as pizza night,
Sunday brunches, concerts and plays, picnics, movie nights and more.  


New Horizons Singles is a great way to meet and get to know single people, without resorting to the bar scene! 



Meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays every month
8:00PM at
Halls of St. George, 
905 East Joliet Road Schererville , Indiana.  


Next meeting is on the 13th and 27nd of May

To join - sign up with Sue, the membership chairperson.  
Dues are $ 25.00 a year. 


Up and coming events will be discussed at the meeting and you will be introduced to many of the singles after the meeting.  Dancing follows the meeting attracting about 300 singles.

If dancing is not your thing, there are plenty of
other events to join in.

Friday, May 2nd Cinco De Mayo Festival, Hammond Civic Center, 5825 Sohl Ave, Hammond.  Opens 5:00pm and dinner is served from 5:30 – 7:30 followed by dancing to DJ till midnight.  $10.  Mariachis will also be performing.  Call 219-853-6378 for more info.

Saturday, May 10th – No Way To Treat A Lady Play - This is a musical comedy thriller about a publicity-crazed actor turned killer, which is based upon a best selling novel.  Towle Community Theater, 5205 Hohman Avenue, Hammond.  The price is $15 and must be paid by Tuesday, April 22nd to Lonny Z.

Course – $14.00 includes riding cart or $9.00 for pull cart.  Be sure to sign up and

Wednesday, May 21st - Bowling @ Stardust Bowl, 3925 E. Lincoln Highway, Merrillville.  $2.00 per game and $2.50 for shoes (seniors get shoes free).  Meet George M. there at 7:00 pm and maybe grab a bite to eat afterwards (690-1914).

 

Sunday, May 25th – Golden Coral Restaurant, on Broadway, MERRILLVILLE, South of Rt. 30.  Today we’re doing a buffet!  The price is $7.19 Adults and $6.49 Seniors, if you arrive before 11:00 am.  Call June S. 219-465-5111.

FUTURE EVENTS

 


Wings on Wheels, June 8th Lansing Airport.  You can tour rows of antique,

historic and homebuilt airplanes.  Guest speakers will cover aviation history

and the Ford Hanger, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Breakfast begins @ 7am and lunch is from 11:30 to 1:30pm.
