NAACP Hammond

The Hammond Branch of the NAACP is thrilled to present the Muntu Dance Theater of Chicago. The Chicago based Muntu Dance Theatre performs authentic and progressive interpretations of contemporary, ancient African and African American dance, music and folklore. A very colorful and dynamic Company, Muntu brings its audience out of their seats. Our purpose in bringing this dynamic event to our community is to encourage family participation and for young people to experience the theater. We feel that our community would benefit greatly from such an enlightening and family oriented experience.
Therefore, we are seeking financial revenues to aid in the presentation of this most exhilarating and exuberate event.
