As the LCRTA begins a new membership year later this summer, the Legislative Action Committee will offer some modern changes to make getting the legislative alerts more quickly.
Please make your email address available to us so the Legislative Bulletins can be emailed to you directly from Indianapolis.
Your email address will not be shared outside the LCRTA/IRTA, but you will receive your alerts instantly--at the same time your LCRTA officers receive theirs! No phone calls will be necessary, and our communications with our Senators, Representatives, and the Governor will be accomplished in a more timely manner.
Watch the August newsletter for details and for that important membership form. Those members who do not have email will still receive their information via the calling tree.
If you would like to serve on the LCRTA calling tree, please contact Pat Nemeth and/or Pat Urban. All individual efforts of LCRTA members, regarding phone calls, emails, and letters sent to our legislators have helped us consistently win our modest COLA. We ask that you help the LCRTA by informing us of your email address.
