Team Sponsor The Merrillville Youth Basketball Junior Pirates, Inc. need your support! We are a non-profit corporation, endorsed by the Merrillville School Corporation - Board of Directors and the Merrillville High School Athletic Department. Our organization teaches youth, both girls and boys, the fundamentals of the game, good sportsmanship and teamwork. Our mission is to promote participation in sports while stressing the importance of education. We seek to provide youth with a pleasurable experience by rewarding the youth through molding character and enhancing confidence. These are the building blocks for a brighter tomorrow.
