Griffith Railroad Museum and Tower open soon for the summer. Antique car owners are invited to bring their vehicles for display from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 4th, 2006 for opening day of the museum and park, 201 S. Broad St. The museum, tower and railroad cars will be open that afternoon. Afterward, the facility will be open 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays through August with special activities on some Sundays. The Grand Trunk Museum and EJ&E Tower have been placed on the National Register of Historic Places and Indiana Register of Historic Sites and Structures.
