The 18th annual Celebrate
Schererville Festival will be held June 18-22 at Redar Park. Parade
on Saturday, June 21st at 5:00pm. Set -up will begin at 4:00pm.
All businesses, schools, churches, groups, and organizations are
invited to join us in this time-honored event. Perhaps you have a
unique or original way to promote your group or company. Entry
forms can be obtained at the Schererville Clerk Treasurer's office
or Rohrman Park office.

2008 Freedom Fest
June 26th through June 29th, 2008
Pheasant Hills Park, Dyer
The 2008 Dyer Freedom Fest will
be held at Pheasant Hills Park beginning Thursday, June 26th and
concluding on Sunday, June 29th. Highlights of the fest are: 5k run
and walk on Thursday; Car Cruise on Friday evening; Fire Truck Show
on Saturday; Bed Races on Sunday afternoon; Parade on Sunday;
Fireworks on Sunday; Best Pizza in Dyer contest; Bean Bag and
Horseshoes Tournaments; White Castle slyder eating contest; Dyer
Idol contest; Kids Games and Events on Saturday afternoon and more.
Hours of the fest will be, Thursday, 6-10pm; Friday, 6-10:30pm;
Saturday, 1-11pm; Sunday, 1-10pm
