Mayor David Uran’s Office of Special Events welcomes the 2012 season of the annual Car Cruise to take place every Thursday night from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Event will begin May 17^th  and end September 27^th. Car Cruise will take place on S Main St. and around our historic downtown square. 

*****Mayor David Uran’s Office of Special Events announces that the Car Cruise is moving for the month of August.  Every Thursday during the month of August the weekly Car Cruise is moving to the Beacon Hill Plaza on Broadway.*******

Mayor Uran and Co-Host Keith Stevens will kick off this event with a live remote from the Car Cruise on their radio show “Get to the Point” on 89.1 the Lakeshore.

The square transforms back to the cool era of hot rods and muscle cars while oldies music from Five Star Radio fills the air thanks to the sponsorship of Mike Adams, The Hot Dog Guy and Barbara Jeans Gifts and Gourmets.  The Hot Dog Guy will be featuring Italian Beef on Car Cruise Night’s only.  The family-friendly event is open to the public and car enthusiasts alike. All classic cars are welcome.
