Tech Help Desk is expanding to Monday, adding another session to the computer help sessions (previously the Computer Clinic) offered by Westchester Public Library for patrons in need of computer help. The Tech Help Desk is free one-on-one technology help on a first-come, first-serve basis. No registration is necessary. The help desk is open from 5 to 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and from 10 to 11 a.m. Fridays in the serials-automation department at Thomas Library, 200 W. Indiana Ave.

The staff will do its best to tackle computer problems as well as topics of choice, such as cellphones, eReaders, tablets, email, Internet or any other technology assistance you require. If the problem is severe enough, staff may recommend patrons see a computer professional to solve the problem. Patrons may bring in laptops or electronic devices to the help desk, but they are not allowed to bring desktop computers. Computers are available for use during Tech Help Desk hours.
